Easter Towel

Happy Friday Everyone!  I don't know about you...but Spring Break is almost over and I'm exhausted!  We have had an ER visit for my baby and lots typical boy accidents...can't wait for school to start back up again!!  Here is a super cute towel you can make in NO time flat!  I found these little tea towels in the dollar section at Target (love that!).  I had some extra fabric and a few extra minutes!!  Thats all you need!

I cut the pink fabric 2 1/4" x 18"
Dot fabric: 5" x 18 "
Ric Rac: 2 (16") pieces
These measurements just depend on what size of towel you have...this worked for mine.  Sew the two pieces of fabric together.  Iron it to be perfect:).  Then iron the fabric about a 1/2" in, like above.
Next is the pinning...hate this part. (Have the ric rac under the fabric...)  Make sure you have everything all straight and how you want it (I may be a little crooked, but I will NEVER admit it:).  Top stitch all around the entire fabric part...and you are done!!  Thats it!

Another little tip...Mine kept falling off and everyone was walking all over my beautiful towel and I was getting sad.  So, I took a little velcro and stuck it to the corners and my problem is solved.  It hasn't come off since!

  2. This is so cute and I still can't get over the fact that you used to be anti-sewing! Maybe I will get there someday.
