Boy have I have I got a YUMMY Easter treat for you! These little guys are so easy to make and would be perfect for your Easter dessert table (you have to have more than one dessert, right??) for all the kiddos! They will LOVE them...I know my kids did! They would also be a very cute for your Easter Table as the name card at each setting...just write the name on a piece of paper and have it intertwine with the eggs.
Bird Nests Treats
1 2/3 c. (11 oz. pkg.) Butterscotch morsels
3/4 c. peanut butter
1 can (8.5 oz.) or 2 cans (5 oz. each) chow mein noodles
Robin Egg Whoppers...or any other egg candy you want
Microwave morsels in large, uncovered, bowl for one minute; stir. The morsels may retain some of their original shape. If necessary, microwave at 10-15 second intervals, stirring just until morsels are melted. Stir in peanut butter until well blended. Add noodles; toss until all ingredients are coated. Spray your muffin tin pan (Farberware Nonstick Bakeware 12-Cup Muffin Pan) with some Pam. Just barely cover the muffin tin with the mixture and then up the sides to make the nest. Refrigerate until set, take out of pan and add the eggs.
***If you only want to make a few nests, you can add some marshmallows to the remaining mixture and then just drop rounded tablespoons of the yumminess to a pan lined with parchment paper....love the marshmallows!
